Attorney Information

 

  1. Contact court staff directly if you have questions or do not see your clients' case number/ticket in MuniCourt or Case.Net, contact court staff directly via this email, (Pagedalecourt@cityofpagedale.org) or 314-726-1200, Option 2.
  2. Also, if you have e-filed your client's case and do not see your entry in Case.Net, contact the court staff. 

  3. Do not email any court documents to the court email address. 

  4. The Pagedale Consolidated  Municipal Division is unable accept faxed documents.

  5. 'Plead and Pay' and all other payments of fines and fees listed on the Uniform Fine Schedule are accepted through Case.Net for you and your client's convenience.

  6. Upon pleading guilty, a conviction will most likely be entered on the case for the following fines:

    Minor traffic violations: up to $225 total fine and costs.

    Property nuisance and zoning violations:

    up to $200 total fine and costs for the first violation within 12 months;

    $275 for the second violation within 12 months;

    $350 for the third violation within 12 months and $450 for the fourth and any subsequent violation within 12 months. 

    The Judge may assess a fine not to exceed $1000.00 per violation and/or a sentence in jail not to exceed 90 days per violation. 

  7. 'Entries of Appearance' are to be e-filed via Case.net. or through USPS for Municourt.net cases.

  8. File each document (entry, request for continuance, etc.) separately by case number.

  9. All original attorney entries must be filed at least five days prior to the court date. 

  10. Send all 'Request for Recommendations' to the Prosecutor's Office.
  11. Attornies, please e-file your signed 'Attorney Recommendation' with the Court upon acceptance by you and your client.
  12. The Court is unable to accept payment of attorney recommendations, prior to the attorney entry being e-filed and accepted in Case.net by the Court. If you have any questions or concerns, contact court staff, 314-726-1200, Option 2.
  13. Attornies, please inform your clients: Attorney Recommendation Payments are due as agreed to on the form. Payments are due in full no later than the court date on the 'Recommendation'. Payments can be made in person or online (Pay-By-Web:  https://www.courts.mo.gov/casenet.
  14. Your client is obligated to immediately advise the court of any change of address. 

  15. Failure to comply with payment procedures and schedule may result in:

    Future tax refunds being intercepted for past due amounts.

    Delinquent amounts will go to collections.

    A warrant may be issued for their arrest and/or the loss of driving privileges if they fail to appear in court as scheduled.

  16. Attornies, if your client is unable to pay their fines/court cost on or before the court/payment date indicated on the 'Attorney Recommendation', the defendant and/or the defendant's attorney is to appear in court to request a payment plan or  request a continuance for a new payment date.
  17. With or without a payment plan, 'Attorney Recommendations' are to be agreed to and signed by the defendant, the  attorney and paid in full prior to disposition of the case.

  18. Cases not listed on the Missouri Municipal 'Uniform Fine Schedule', such as DWI, DUI, Driving While Suspended or Revoked and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Maintaining Financial Responsibility require a mandatory court appearance. If a defendant is represented by counsel, the attorney is expected to appear.
  19. Assault, Petty Larceny, Peace Disturbances, Trespassing and any other municipal ordinance violations, not listed on the Missouri 'Uniform Fine Schedule' require a mandatory court appearance by the defendant and/or attorney.When the defendant is unable to make the payment on or before the Court/Payment date, the defendant or the defendant's attorney is to appear in court or submit a request for continuance for a new payment date or request a payment plan.

PROBATION PROCEDURES

  1. The signed Probation Order must be received by the Court prior to the defendants next court date.
  2. Acceptance of the Probation Order must be signed by both counsel and defendant.
  3. An appearance before the Judge is required of both counsel and the defendant in order to complete the processing of the Probation Order.
  4. If a continuance is needed, contact the Court by e-filing your motion in Case.Net or via US Mail for MuniCourt.Net
  5. Continuances can only be granted by the Judge or the Court Administrator as authorized by the Judge. Do not assume the case has been continued until you have received verification through the Court. The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney cannot continue a case.
